We are so happy to announce that our crowdfunding campaign has come to a successful close with our total raised exceeding our goal! Your support has been inspiring - thank you so much for believing in our vision. We are so excited to welcome you, our community, to the festival next Saturday, 25 November. If you donated from afar, we'll be celebrating with you in spirit, and more thanks is on the way.

If you or anyone you know still needs a ticket:

Tickets to all festival events at SOAS may be purchased here: http://store.soas.ac.uk/…/international-academic-conferences

Tickets to Afrobeats Party may be purchased here at a special discounted price just for ourselves + others attendees: https://www.fatsoma.com/mobile/products/ujhm7ipu

Thanks once again and see you at the festival!

ourselves + others: african feminist re-CREATIONS at SOAS is now 8 1 %  f u n d e d! 🎉📢🎊🎈✨🎫

We have seen such an outpouring of support in the last few days - thanks so much to everyone who has seen the value of this event and sponsored us! We are so excited to meet you at the festival.

We are so energized that we’ve decided to extend the campaign for another week. This will help ensure that we can meet our goal, pay our artists and other participants, create a warm, dynamic festival atmosphere, and give you more time to get our signature merch! So tell your friends and family, if they haven’t donated, it’s not too late. Keep sharing the link: bit.ly/ourselvesandothers

We’ll also be hosting a plantain chips sale on Friday afternoon (10 November) at SOAS! We’ve partnered with Olu Olu Foods to bring you their distinctive plantain chips, which are normally hard to find in central London. Come grab a snack and keep supporting our campaign in a delicious way.

Thanks so much once again!
